The Process Of Shoe Creation

Each custom project begins with an open design brief where you share your size, mood, colour preferences, and any other details. Bx reviews each brief to ensure it aligns with their expertise and vision. If your brief is accepted, you can be confident that a suitable vision will be brought to life with the high standards of craftsmanship. Please note that not all briefs will be accepted, as Bx is committed to delivering perfection for each client.

Pricing for custom shoes varies between €80-€250, with a personalized quote provided upfront. The creation process for each pair takes a minimum of 2 months.

My very own BX Design shoes were a special birthday gift from the wonderful designer herself - Becky! Not only a warm and generous person, but also a talented and adventurous creative. She surprised me with this pair of shoes and absolutely nailed it when designing with my preferences in mind. The shoes are elegant without being overly formal, and I can dress them up or down. Their shape nods to the retro silhouettes of the 1930s. The cork material used is breathable and comfortable, and has a beautiful natural colour contrasted with teal accents. The shoes fit my feet and my vibe so well that they have accompanied me on many an outing! Whenever I wear them I am constantly asked where I bought them from. I reply with pride and love that they were made for me by Becky!

I bought a pair of shoes from bx design full leather. I asked Becky to design the shoes in the same style of the famous Papal shoes in burgundy as I was inspired by my childhood answer I gave my parents when they asked me what do you want to be when you grow up. Her design was impeccable and her attention to detail and sewing was extremely professional. Becky stayed in touch with me to ensure that the design was to my liking and it fit my foot like a glove. Unfortunately after a freak foot accident I cannot wear these shoes anymore however they are an extremely good conversation piece and I keep them prized in a special box on display with my collection of football boots recalling my football career. I love these shoes and when I wore them they gave me so much confidence. I hope that one day I can return to wear them as they are not only fashionable but a true one of a kind.

No. We only have a strict unique design and unique build policy. If you contact us, we will pass on details of other good shoe makers who can follow your brief.

Can I make or purchase any size and shape of shoe I want?

Shoe sizes are determined by the shape of shoe you wish to make or order and the measurement of the feet. We will determine a way forward for every client individually but we have some restrictions such as heel height and toe box shapes.  Contact us in order to get a free consultation.

If my commissioned shoe is chosen for manufacturing, how long will it take to make it?

The process for completing a custom shoe design typically takes about 2 months. If you require the shoes to be made more quickly, we offer an expedited option at double the price. However, please note that the production time can never be shorter than 3 weeks.
