This preferred course is perfect for those ready to commit. It includes a minimum of 8 sessions and a maximum of 10. With dedication and focus, you will leave with a completed pair of shoes. All sessions provide specialized tools and materials. Coffee and water will be offered during all sessions.
Course Overview
The Mark Makers course is tailored for committed and motivated students who are eager to see a complete shoe project through to the end. In this course, you will create a finished shoe in 10 sessions, with a minimum of 8 sessions and a maximum of 10 sessions required. Each student is encouraged to develop their own design, provided it is discussed beforehand to ensure a high likelihood of completion. Begin the course with an image board, sent in advance, showcasing your intentions, shoe size measurements, preferred colours, and materials. Attention, and adopt an “in it to win it” mindset—you will make a wearable, amazing shoe.
Lessons are tailored to your specific design, but common tips will be shared with the other two participants. You’ll learn by doing, with each step demonstrated by the tutor before you try it yourself. This course is perfect for those who are pressed for time but are determined to see their project completed. You’ll be super motivated and enthusiastic throughout the process, and you’ll be astonished by what you can achieve and learn. The course can be started in any month between October and May, with no lessons held from July through September.
If you can use basic tools like a ruler, tape measure, compass, and handle other tools responsibly, you have the potential to make a wearable shoe. Beginners are welcome. Our experience in conducting such classes ensures that challenges are anticipated and addressed, tailoring a perfect learning experience for each participant.
The Mark Makers course can be transferred and upgraded to the Sharp Shoers course prior to commencing any sessions. Join us and take the first step towards mastering the art of shoemaking! Black coffee and water will be made available. This course has a 6-month expiration from the date of purchase.
